Already mandatory. Not only from 2026. Since 2 February 2025, the EU AI Act (Article 4) has required every company that uses AI to make sure its employees are sufficiently AI-literate. This obligation already applies. This training is the documented, auditable measure with which you meet it.

Why this training

AI fails on people, not on the model.

Most employees already use artificial intelligence. Only rarely in the right way. They treat a high-performance thinking tool like a better search engine, enter sensitive data into uncontrolled tools and trust results that sound convincing but can be wrong.

The result is three quiet costs: lost productivity, unchecked data protection risks and a growing uncertainty about what is and is not allowed when working with AI.

This AI training for companies closes exactly that gap. In one day, hands-on, ready to apply straight away, with or without prior knowledge.

01
Lost productivity

Anyone who uses AI like Google taps only a fraction of it. We show how the search engine becomes a thinking engine.

02
Unchecked data protection risks

Sensitive data ends up in tools unfiltered. We build in the routine that prevents this before you hit send.

03
Legal uncertainty

GDPR and the EU AI Act feel abstract. We translate them into simple rules for everyday work.

Course overview

Theory in brief beforehand. The day belongs to practice.

The training comes with accompanying learning material that presents the foundations of artificial intelligence in short, easy-to-follow learning units. Your employees grasp the essentials quickly and can return to them at any time, even after the seminar.

  • Practice over theory. In the in-person seminar, putting things into practice is at the centre. Working from real cases out of everyday office life, participants work on their own tasks, not on slides.
  • Secure and compliant. A concise overview of data protection, the terms of use of the AI models, GDPR and the EU AI Act, translated for everyday use.
  • Tool-independent. What participants learn works with any common assistant such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini.
  • Low barriers. The free versions of the common AI tools are enough for the content. A paid subscription is not required.

Course content

One day in two modules.

Module 1 · Morning · Understanding the basics and using them safely

Guiding question: how does an AI really work, and how can I use it safely and sensibly in everyday office life?

  • The basic principles of AI explained simply: how a language model calculates the most likely next word, recognises patterns and fills in information, without really thinking.
  • Why AI is obedient but not automatically right: seeing through hallucinations, excessive agreement and invented details.
  • The CITE(R) framework for phrasing tasks clearly and checking results systematically. The core tool for reliable prompts, usable from day one.
  • Five practical rules that force honest answers instead of glossed-over ones.
  • Data protection in practice: the three-second rule before every send. Recognising and safeguarding names, figures and strategies.
1
Module 2 · Afternoon · Using AI helpers productively and compliantly

Guiding question: how do I use AI helpers so that they save time and make work easier, without creating new risks?

  • Create texts, tables and emails with AI faster and better, design consistent templates, and check and improve results in a targeted way.
  • The EU AI Act in plain language: what it means for daily work, without legal jargon.
  • Building your own AI knowledge base: which documents make an AI assistant genuinely useful.
  • Building your own AI helpers: NotebookLM for evidence-based work with your own documents, and Custom GPTs for recurring tasks.
  • Zero Trust as a new skill: recognising deepfakes, CEO fraud and cloned voices and safeguarding against them via a second channel.

Jakub Popluhar

Business Lead · Hill Digital · AI trainer & consumer psychologist

Master of Education, Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Deep background in linguistics, semantics and consumer psychology. AI trainer at ARS, the largest seminar provider in Austria, with a solid grounding in sales and consumer psychology.

I combine AI expertise with consumer psychology: I understand the technology and why people reject it. When it comes to working with AI, what matters is an understanding of language and human behaviour, not the choice of tool.

'I do not train anything I do not use myself every day.'

Certificate

AI literacy under Article 4 of the EU AI Act

Every participant receives a Hill Digital certificate: the documented, auditable measure for meeting the AI literacy obligation under Article 4 of the EU AI Act. This obligation has applied since 2 February 2025 to all companies that use AI systems. Anyone who uses AI and does not train their team does not meet it.

Frequently asked questions

Before you get in touch.

Do I need prior knowledge?

No. The training is designed for participants with and without prior AI knowledge. Everyone starts at their own level.

Do I need a paid AI subscription?

No. The free versions of the common AI tools are enough for the content of the training. A paid subscription is not required.

Which AI tools are covered?

The methods are tool-independent and work with common assistants such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. We also cover NotebookLM as well as an overview of further tools for text, presentation, image, voice and video, each with a business case and a risk assessment.

What about data protection?

Data protection under GDPR and the requirements of the EU AI Act are a fixed part of the training. Participants learn to protect sensitive data and to use AI in a compliant way. And what you learn applies to any AI model.

Can we book this in-house?

Yes. The training can be run as an in-house course for teams and departments, as well as an open training or in the Boutique format. We clarify the exact setup in a scoping call.
